Jonas Krinitz graduated with a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Freiburg in 2020, specialising in monetary economics, macroeconomics and econometrics.
During his studies, he worked for several years for the Chair of Information Systems in the research project "Machine Learning in Finance". He also supported the Chair of Economic Policy in analysing the socio-economic panel.
Jonas Krinitz also worked in conjunction with the Miggroprices research group on analysing micro price data to improve consumer price indices.
Following his studies, Mr Krinitz worked as a research assistant at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences on a macroeconomic evaluation of the "Economic Development 4.0" projects for the regionalisation of production and consumption.
Since February 2021, he has been working in the "Economic and Social Affairs" department at GWS. His areas of expertise in the field of sector analysis are the building materials industry, building construction and the property industry. Mr Krinitz is also part of the QuBe project and the BMAS Skilled Labour Monitoring.
