Transforming energy markets – GWS at IAEE 2018

This year, the international IAEE conference took place for the 41st time from 11th to 13th June, 2018, in which GWS participated with two contributions. The Dutch university city Groningen was hosting the event. Christian Lutz presented results of macroeconomic effects of German energy transition that were obtained within the context of a project supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. During the poster session, Lisa Becker showed a method to calculate the import reductions of fossil resources which were achieved due to increasing energy efficiency and the deployment of renewable energies.
