On 5th of February 2018, the kick-off meeting for the project “Expert Monitoring: Development of an analytic tool to forecast the supply and demand of skilled workers in Germany” took place in Berlin in the BMAS premises. The aim of the three-year project is to obtain a reliable assessment of the future development of both the demand for skilled workers and the available supply. Demographic, qualificational and regional mismatches on the employment market should be identified and spheres of activity should be point out.

The project is carried out jointly by the QuBe team (www.qube-projekt.de). The team consists of the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) and the Society for Economic Structural Research (GWS).
