Medical market projection confirms shortage on general practitioners

On the KBV-Herbsttagung (5th Oktober 2016 in Berlin) the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians presented its newly developed medical market projection. The projection runs until 2030 and considers the demand as well as the supply side of the medical market. The results are based on a model developed by GWS in cooperation with Fraunhofer FIT, the Federal Institute for Vocational education and training (BIBB) and the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). Mr. Wolter presented the methodology on the conference.
