Copper Forecasting Chile – COFORCE. Methodology Report
For the BMBF-funded research project "Development of sustainable strategies in the Chilean mining sector through a regionalized national model", the GWS, together with the University Adolfo Ibañez in Viña del Mar (Chile), developed a dynamic macroeconometric input-output model for the first time. With the model COFORCE, socio-economic impacts of copper on the Chilean economy can be analysed. The Discussion Paper published here, is a methodological report on the construction of the model. It describes the general modelling concept and illustrates first results of the baseline scenario, which includes major indicators of the total economy and its sectors.
