Economic effects of extreme weather events in Germany

As part of the research project "Economics of Climate Change Adaptation" (econCCadapt), funded through the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research effects of extreme weather events (river floods, heat waves) on the German economy and on individual economic sectors were analyzed on the basis of the macroeconometric model PANTA RHEI. Results are presented in the GWS Discussion Paper 15/2.
