INFORUM World Conference 2025

We are pleased to announce the Inforum Conference 2025, to be held from May 7th to 10th, 2025 at the Hotel Innside Palma Center, located in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Part of the conference program will also be a guided tour to the city of Palma. This event is hosted by the Inforum Groups of USA, Italy and Germany. 
 

The conference will focus on the INFORUM modeling approach and its applications. We invite contributions in the form of presentations that explore advancements, applications, and developments of Inforum models. 

In addition to the regular conference topics, we will dedicate a session to honoring the life and work of Clopper Almon following his passing in May, 2024. We will also have a discussion on the future of the INFORUM group of international partners, considering its special contributions to input-output and economic modeling. 

Please submit your abstract by March 15th, 2025 to Frederik Parton and Doug Meade. 

The conference is expected to host 25–30 participants. A conference fee of 300 EUR is required for participation, which covers the cost of the conference room, refreshments during two coffee breaks per day, and organizational expenses.  

Upon confirming your participation by February 28th, 2025, participants will receive an invoice of GWS mbH for the payment of the conference fee. Once the payment has been received, participants will be officially registered for the conference.

Participants are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel and accommodation expenses. Additional fees for those wishing to attend the Inforum-Group-Event a guided tour to the City of Palma will be 65 EUR. A list of nearby hotels can be seen below.
